Groundtex Ground Stabilisation / Weed Control Membrane

Now available for fast free local delivery or collection Groundtex. A good ‘all round’ or multi-purpose geo fabric that can be used for weed suppression and ground stabilisation in both soft and hard landscaping schemes.

GROUNDTEX is a tough woven fabric which successfully meets the requirements for use above ground as a heavy duty weed barrier. Due to its excellent strength and tear resistance, GROUNDTEX can also be used below ground as a stabilising and separating geotextile in groundwork and civil engineering applications. GROUNDTEX can be used beneath type 1 aggregate, sharp/angular stone and gravel including areas subject to pedestrian or vehicular traffic.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

1- Excavate area to the required depth.
2- Prepare the area where the fabric is to be laid.
3- For areas badly affected by weed growth, apply a suitable weedkiller.
4- Lay Groundtex fabric out and ensure joints are overlapped by a minimum of 300mm for ground stabilisation or 100mm for weed control.
5- Secure using Extrafix fixing pegs or similar fixings.
6- If using as a ground stabilisation membrane lay MOT / sub-base layer over the fabric. If using as a weed control membrane cover the fabric with a layer of bark or mulch, rounded cobbles or aggregate by a minimum of 50mm.

Delivery is made in these zones by our own vehicles. All of our vehicles have 'hiab' cranes fitted. This allows us to deliver our products where you need them with ease.
