Steintec tuffjoint Dry-Apply Jointing Mortar – 12.5kg

Steintec tuffjoint is a convenient, dry-application paving jointing mortar for patios, pathways and driveways. Supplied ready to use in a reusable 12.5kg tub, tuffjoint requires no mixing. Simply brush the dry mortar into the paving joints, remove the excess material and activate it using a fine mist of clean water.

Suitable for porcelain, sandstone, granite and concrete paving, tuffjoint creates strong, hard-wearing joints with minimal ongoing maintenance. When applied to dry paving, unused mortar can be returned to the tub for future use, helping to minimise unnecessary waste. Available in Flint, Anthracite, Hessian and Cream.

Quick Application Guide

1. Pour the dry tuffjoint mortar over the paving.
2. Sweep the mortar fully into the joints using a rubber squeegee or suitable brush.
3. Remove all excess dry mortar from the surface.
4. Apply clean water using a fine mist spray until water begins to pool on the paving.
5. Top up any joints where the mortar has settled after watering.
6. Clean the paving using a Washboy and sponge float.

For the easiest application and minimum wastage, apply tuffjoint to clean, dry paving. It can be applied to damp paving, although the mortar may clump and the joints may require additional topping up.

Do not install during rainfall. Check the weather forecast before use and protect the completed paving if rain is expected within six hours, as heavy rain may dislodge the mortar before it has cured.
